Southern Renovations Solutions is owner Jim Calzaretta and a small, loyal crew of tradespeople who've been working together for years. Founded in 2010, based in Nashville, serving Middle Tennessee.

Jim has been doing residential construction for more than three decades. He started Southern Renovations Solutions in 2010 with a simple model: be on the job site every day, put everything in writing, and treat each home like it's the only project you have.
That model is why our average project still has Jim personally on site daily — making decisions, answering questions, walking the work. It's slower than running half a dozen projects at once. It's also why our clients refer the next one.
Jim oversees scope, schedule, budget and finish quality on every project we take on. If you sign with us, you're working with him.
Riley Deane
Riley leads design on every Southern Renovations project — layout, finish selections, material specs, and the small details that turn a good remodel into a great one.
Her job starts before demo and continues through the final walkthrough. Floor plans, cabinet specs, tile choices, lighting design, paint colors, hardware — pulled together as one cohesive vision rather than a stack of disconnected decisions.
If you have an architect or outside designer already, Riley works directly with them. If you don't, she handles the design end-to-end so you have one team responsible for both how it looks and how it gets built.

What we promise
- Owner-led on site. Jim is on every project every week, on most every day.
- Written estimates. Line-item scope, real allowances, no vague placeholders that turn into change orders.
- Workmanship warranty. In writing. We come back if something we built isn't right.
What we won't
- Run six jobs at once. We take on what we can run well, not what we can sell.
- Lowball the bid. If our estimate is materially under everyone else's, that's a red flag, not a deal.
- Skip the unsexy work. Subfloor, waterproofing, flashing — we do it right because that's what fails first when it isn't.
